Sources & corrections

A useful guide should tell you where its advice comes from and where it stops.

What these resources are based on

We use government consumer-protection and safety publications where available. Each guide links to the sources supporting its main advice and gives the date those sources were checked. The guides and worksheets are prepared for LocalUrgentPro; a publication date is not a claim of independent professional review.

What we do not claim

Our editors have not inspected your property, verified the contractor you may hire, or diagnosed a fault. The site does not claim that a licensed contractor, engineer, lawyer, or insurance adjuster has reviewed these pages. We do not invent first-hand job experience, customer reviews, provider availability, or local price averages.

Requirements vary by state, locality, trade, and project. Use the relevant licensing or permitting authority to check the rule for your job. For dangerous conditions, use public emergency or utility services rather than a lead form.

How the tools work

The request planner organizes your observations and suggests questions. The comparison worksheet performs arithmetic on the amounts you enter. Neither recommends a contractor, predicts a repair cost, or decides whether a property is safe. Blank or unknown quote items must be resolved with the provider. Tool entries stay on the page and are not stored by LocalUrgentPro.

Corrections and updates

Report a broken source, factual error, or unclear instruction to support@citadeltechlabs.com. Include the page URL, the passage, and a source or explanation. Do not include private customer or property records. A correction request is not an emergency channel.

When a substantive correction is published, its review date and change note should be updated. A changed date alone is not a content update, and an unchanged page must not be described as newly verified.
